Ok, I have a lot to say about this drawing, so let’s get right into it. First off, I originally planned to do this one yesterday, but I had something else to do and it left me feeling more exhausted that expected, so my apologies for that. Second off, and I have no idea why this was the case, but drawing this thing was maddeningly difficult. I made three different attempts at this design before landing on this one, and I couldn’t get any of them to look right. Maybe it was my approach with those drawings that was the problem, or maybe I’m just bad at drawing bugs, but at least now I have something that I think works so I’m taking that as a win. As for the design itself, I based it mainly off of the Venezuelan Poodle Moth, a very fluffy white moth from South America that may or may not even exist. Most people only know about it from an image of a moth quilt that went around a few years back, and upon seeing that I thought it’d be cool to mix it with a cloud and make it one of my Wind creatures, hence the name. I don’t know how well I pulled off the cloud motif here, but to me it’s close enough and frankly I’m ready to be done with thing for today.
