Yeah, though he had some disagreements with his parents (like in the original lore, when he first found SG), after a few months with SG after he ran away/was abandoned, he ran into his mother, and they talked things over...His dad joined the conversation, accepted it, moved on...He didn't talk much, just trying to get things back to a functional family. So he joined SG on good terms with his parents, though he was still hurt. He forgave them, seeing how things may have went wrong before. They saw his point of view and corrected things...So things were better!

He loved his mom after they talked things out...She's proud of him, though unsure about his methods. She's very excited when he sent her a message about Akita! So she'd be quite proud of the gentleman he has become...
