Welp, after a long and difficult semester of college I am now OFFICIALLY on Summer Break, which means it’s time for me to get back to drawing more elemental creatures! And now that life has fully returned to the land, it feels only fitting that the next element in the cycle is that which embodies life itself: Nature! So for the first of this new set of critters, I decided to base it off the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, which not only has a strong tie to the element due to their reliance on flowers and their nectar for food but is also something I see pretty often around my area this time of year! And of course for the design itself I had to incorporate flowers into it as much as possible, which while the final result of that is far from perfect I do think it’s the best I can do right now, so I’m sticking with it at least for now the time being! And yes, these creatures will display the same crazy level of mobility in the final game as their inspiration does in real life, which I think will be a very fun challenge for players to try and work around! With all that being said, I hope all of you enjoy this flowery little fella and I’ll probably be back tomorrow with another new creature!
