And so the final dragon of this extra set has emerged, and I mean that quite literally as the most stand-out element of this design is the giant Shadow magic portal in its center. Opening these portals- which I like to call Shadowgates- is one of the main ways Shadow magic is used in my fantasy world, and for this Shadow-element wyrm I wanted to really show that off. I considered having the dragon be coming out from the portal, but I had no idea how I would draw that in a way that actually looked good, so I shelved that idea for the time being. The dragon design itself is honestly super basic, so I don’t have all that much to say about it, but despite that I still really like how it turned out. So on that note I hope you guys like this one as well, and though this will probably be my last drawing for a while I still intend to make some new stuff here eventually, so stay tuned for that!
