Because of how late in the day I posted my last drawing, I didn’t want to waste any time getting this next one out today. I based it primarily on the mythical Thunderbird spoken of in many Native American folk tales, described as a massive bird with the power to summon storms and can create thunder with its wings. Some believe that the appearance of the creature came from sightings of large extinct birds or local condors soaring overhead, and with this in mind I including elements of the largest condor and largest flying bird in the world: the Andean Condor. In fitting with this, these enemies will be the biggest and strongest of all my Lightning creatures, making them the undisputed Apex of their home region, so players will need to be on their A-game if they want to bring these birds down. I really like how this thing came out in the end, so I hope all of you enjoy it too and I’ll see you tomorrow for the next one!
