I’m willing to bet that out of all of my Metal creatures, the Rust-Toothed Shrew is the last one you guys were expecting to be the Colossus of the element. But the moment the idea popped into my head, I just couldn’t get the idea out of my head, so now I’m going for it! I also really like the idea of this Colossus having the most unpredictable attack patterns out of all of them, unleashing a constant onslaught of attacks that will barely give the player a chance to react, forcing them to think fast on their feet and and try to find a way to either interrupt the barrage or deal damage in between the attacks. It’s not the kind of boss fight that I’d normally want to put in my game, but I can’t shake the feeling that it can be something really cool if executed correctly, so for that reason I’m sticking with it! And as for the design itself, I don’t have as much to say about it this time since it is pretty simple, but it still works well so I’m content with it. This is definitely a design that’s much more interesting in concept than in execution anyways. But either way, I hope you guys like this one and I’ll be back tomorrow for the final set of Colossi!
