It would be pretty silly of me of make a game where you play as dragons and not include plenty of flyers in the enemy roster, wouldn’t it? Based primarily on Australian Firehawks- which are several species of raptors that intentionally spread fire to force prey out in the open- with some Phoenix elements mixed in, this creatures main methods of attack will include flaming talon strikes from above and unleashing waves of fire from its wings at a distance. Like with the Magmander, this one took a bit of trial and error to get the colors and patterns just right, but I think I’m satisfied with this iteration of it for now. I have noticed that the color palettes of both creatures are near identical, but I think the different distributions of color are enough to keep them from looking too similar. But don’t worry, the next beast I plan to draw will not have this problem. Look forward to that tomorrow, and until then I hope you enjoy this blazing bird of mine!
