having the idea/interest but not the skills/motivation

heya this is Murphic, and I really REALLY love drawing. As much as I am always up to improving it, I also really wanted to get into animation! Y'know, giving my drawings some life, making them move, it all seems super peak! But for some reason, even tho Ive got so many ideas, I can't seem to put them on paper. Like, maybe it's just that I'm not secure on what I'm doing, but wenether I try to animate, I feel like I'm "stuck" and that drawing the next frame will look bad or something like that, I don't know what runs through my mind but I just can't draw another frame. And it is something that I wanted to try SOOOOO bad, yet I always get this feeling of being "stuck" in a way. Idk how to explain it, it just really sucks. Ok yeah, im going to try to get something out and animate, but yeahhh I wanted to talk a bit abt this here cuz it really sucks T_T

I can't believe you're keeping the name murphic's meanders omg i still remember the first aw in the series
ive been practicing animation a bit lately but yeah it is really difficult ;𝅎;

OH YEAH KEY FRAMES!!! They're pretty good, I think I tried once, didn't really work for me, but I should try again this time with a bittt more patience. I also tried learning the principles as well, like, take a notebook, get videos online and actually take notes down T_T As much as it did get me a lil bit bored, I did manage to make a lil stick man jumping so ITS A WIN YESSSS!!!! (i wanna share it here I'm gonna put the link to it or sumthin on another comment)

Oh, I know how that goes! Also trying animation, but yeah.... Uh.... My recommendation, throw on some music, and first draw your beginning and end frame, key frames if you will, don't worry about it looking bad, it takes some work....and polish can come later. Just focus on fundamentals of the key frames, then once you have those, might be slightly cheating but what I like to do is copy the first frame, then adjust it a tiny bit for a tiny art of the motion needed. Then repeat, now with that frame, until you reach the final frame. Tedious but it helps with the block.... Animation takes so much work and time and movement....
