Alright, after several days of tweaking this design, I can finally present to you all the first of my Ice element creatures: the Chill Wolf! The inspirations behind this one should be fairly obvious, as it’s mainly based on the Arctic Wolf and wolves in general have a very strong association with winter and the cold, so this one felt like a no-brainer for me. The design itself is actually based off of a Roblox game I used to play all the time called Creatures of Sonaria, and one of the mechanics in that game were these plushies you could attach to your creatures to give them stat boosts, and there just so happens to be an Ice Wolf plushy among that roster. So, taking a lot of design elements from that little guy and adding my own, we end up with this good frosty boy right here! It was pretty hard figuring out exactly what I wanted to add to this design to make it feel more unique, hence why it took me so dang long to finish it, but I think I’m happy with what I’ve ended up with now, so I hope you guys like it too and I’ll be back soon for the next beast of Ice! (hopefully it won’t take me nearly as long to get that one out)
