This was another dragon that I originally didn’t know what I was going to do with its design, so I was basically flying by the seat of my pants while drawing this. Having said that though, I do think it came out pretty well! I wanted to try and make this one a Chinese-style dragon, and while it was a little tough at first due to being out of practice with drawing this type of dragon, I think I still managed to pull off the look of one quite well. My main struggle was finding a color scheme for it that both with with the Nature element while still feeling unique compared to the other Nature dragons I’ve made, a balance that I’m not quite sure I was able to hit, but I still like how the colors on this one came together so I’m sticking with it! I even added some plant-like details on the limbs and horns and made the tip of the tail look like a giant leaf, just to reinforce the elemental theme that much further! So while this design is a pretty simple one, I still like what I was able to do with it, so for the time being at least I’m happy with how it looks, so I hope you guys like it too and I’ll be back tomorrow for something a bit more- bizzare. You’ll see what I mean.
