Flynn Silverleaf Late life (WIP)

Flynn Silverleaf
Age: 42 (at death)
Magic: Art Mage
Allegiance: Darkar
Family: Akita Silverleaf (daughter), Lani Silverleaf (late daughter), Leni Silverleaf (son), Loni Silverleaf (daughter), Maya (late wife), Ayesha Silverleaf (sister), Rody Redsoul (ex brother in law),
Backstory:
He and Maya continued with their band for a few years, before settling down in a small village. They had 4 kids over the years, raising them in a safe place...or so Maya and Flynn thought. LΓΊca Starbringer found them, asking Flynn to come back. Flynn refused, of course. He didn't want LΓΊca around his family, and for good reason. However, LΓΊca had already spoken to Akita and Lani, convincing them he was their friendly uncle. Obviously a lie. The children didn't fully believe it...but later on, LΓΊca kept coming back until at one point, Maya grew deathly ill. She ended up dying a slow death, the family watching her slip away. That was the breaking point for most of them, though Leni and Loni have no memory of it. Flynn suspected Darkar was at fault, and was correct. When he confronted LΓΊca at her funeral, LΓΊca informed him of the reason behind Maya's death. Darkar wanted a warning so Flynn would rejoin them. He refused again, trying to track down the one responsible for Maya's death. However, the Darkar sent people after him, after his children. Akita was only 6 during this time, but the repeated violence, the constant pain from each attack was too much. Before her mind could fully form, it shattered. Flynn became aware of this shattering but didn't know what to do. Zyla had tried to advise him against it, but...the constant threat to his family convinced him to rejoin Darkar. A horrible choice, but he did it, against Zyla's wishes. From there, he started to unravel further, almost using work as a coping mechanism. He then started forcing his children into "training" to kill people. Of course, this was awful...His daughter, Lani, tried to reach out to local law enforcement, but Darkar had told Flynn to rid himself of the threat of his own daughter...So he did it. Akita had seen this, as well as the many times someone was killed...He thought teaching her to kill, to protect herself was necessary, but he became obsessive with training, becoming horribly abusive.
