My apologies for taking so long on this guy, I was having some major artists block yesterday and could not figure out how to make this design work. But today is a new day, and with a much clearer head I can now proudly present the final enemy creature for the Fire element. The main inspiration behind this one was of course a lion, which typically symbolizes strength, courage, and other traits related to fire as well as its iconic fiery mane. But as the name suggests, I’ve also included some elements of the Manticore, a lion/scorpion/bat hybrid for Greek mythology that could also breath fire. This would probably be the strongest the five Fire creatures in the game, serving as the apex predator of the region they’re all found in, and as such would have some explosively powerful attacks to decimate players that aren’t prepared to take them on. I only hope they’ll have a better time fighting this thing than I did drawing it. Anyways, I hope you guys like this flaming kitty cat and I’ll see you again soon for the next element on the list!
