there's also another drum that's also just noise (also with preset frequencies so i dont know the specifics) with some delay and reverb added, and it actually plays besides the "drawer", but also it has lower hits whenever the drawer hits in order to add higher frequencies to it to make it sound better. Of course, there's also the kick playing whenever the drawer hits so that helps make it generally hit harder.

the main part of the sound is actually derived from a preset instrument, so im not entirely sure how to describe the specifics, but basically it just takes noise, makes all the specific frequencies "twang" out evenly, and then i changed how much of each frequency can come through using EQ filter (the freq filter on the whole sound) and note filter (the freq filter on the hit itself) + bitcrushing and reverb to make it sound slightly more realistic and darker to fit the tone. the part of the sound where it sounds like the drawer is sliding in is just white noise fading in and out really quickly. it makes it sound a bit more satisfying when the "drawer gets hit". it's inspired by an instrument in corru.observer (the main inspo for this track), if you go to https://soundcloud.com/corruworks/the-first-embassy you'll see what i mean!
