Ok, so I was originally planning to release this guy yesterday, but with 4th of July festivities leaving me much more exhausted than I’d expected I simply didn’t have the mental energy to do so. Sorry about that. Fortunately I’m feeling better rested today, allowing me to finally put out the last of my Earth-element creatures. Based primarily off of an Ostrich, my main inspiration for this design comes from a Pokémon-like game called Nexomon which includes a three stage line of rocky ostriches. To put my own spin on the idea, I tried to give parts of this guys body a look similar to the ore blocks in Minecraft, which after some trial-and-error turned out pretty well in my opinion. The design still needs a bit of fine-tuning as of me writing this, but overall I’m fairly proud of it, so I hope all of you enjoy it too and I’ll see you again soon to begin drawing creatures for the element of Lightning!
