Backstory:

A long time ago, long before his time with Darkar, long before he was killed, he was a child. An innocent child. Or he was supposed to be.

Right from his birth he was offered into the Fyre Experimentations, and he grew up as a test subject of the lab's first experiments. He didn't enjoy it, but allowed it to happen, planning his escape from the place. For now, he learned a lot of their tactics to use for later. When he was about 12, he found that his parents had another child, a girl. Oddly enough, it took his parents 8 years to give the girl up to the scientists. When they did, Zori got to meet his sister for the first time. He helped keep her safe during the time that they were both experiments- created for the sake of making more powerful soldiers, messing with Mentalian magic that should not have existed. He cared greatly for his sister, trying to protect her from the scientists while also teaching her to be ruthless like him and the scientists. However, when he was in his early twenties, he was taken out of the labs by Caroline and Eland, two Darkar leaders. They had heard of his power but not about his sister, so they took him to Darkar, which suited his nature quite well, considering his bloodlust and unique abilities. He had risen up the ranks quickly, heading to the Ashborne unit, where he eventually became Commander.

He did try to get his sister back, but he had heard that she had died. So he continued with leading the Ashborne Division.

He had heard that there was Flynn Silverleaf, who was known for his skill as a fighter, though his parents kept him out of the war. Zori had convinced him to join, seeing potential. Of course, he didn't expect that Flynn would become a menace of an assassin.

Eventually, he was contacted by an important person, someone from the Ruby Order. It was decided that Flynn would go after this person, as he was quite skilled...

That was Zori's undoing. The target was Algorin Letaris, who had quite the power....holding a Mentalian from the Obsidian family. Flynn wasn't seen again...and Zori was killed along with all those in his division, as the one who had led it.

He never knew that his sister was in fact alive.
