Ummm I was thinking abt inspirations you could get and even if I'm not that sure about specific genres I was thinking abt the song “White Ball‶ by Miracle Musical (it isn't really a soundtrack so uh if it doesn't help you that much i can look for some other ideas), maybe a little darker?? Aside: I'm having trouble accepting the "they won't be very high effort" part, because I feel bad whenever something feels imperfect about my music

I always have that problem but it's especially pervasive right now when getting past that multiple times in a row is necessary for making progress with this project

also just read what ur gonna do, uhhh so my region kinda goes around this big castle/palace thing? like, imagine theres a lil village and right on it's center is this big, sorta intimidating sorta pretty castle. ye thats kinda it? there is also this forest that the people who live there belive it is cursed and that it brings bad luck, so they usually just avoid it. The castle gives more of a intimidating feeling and the village is just a bit more welcoming.
