Since Grid Paint has been getting repopulated, I figure we should develop into a proper city!

Currently, there are 9 spots for buildings to go. This area will be the residential district, so please only put houses here. Later, we will expand and make more areas so that we can have more buildings. Each plot is 10x10 pixels large.

Please only draw 1 house! We can make some sort of economical system later if necessary, but until we come up with that, everyone just gets 1 free plot.

Each plot will have an address, which is currently determined by the plot's column (marked by a letter) and row (marked by a number) which will be written directly next to each other in respective order. (for example, Central Park is in plot B2)

All districts will be rectangular, so the size of a district can be marked by the address of the plot in its top-left-most corner and its bottom-right-most corner. (for example, the residential district is A1xC3 currently)

The way of marking addresses may have to change later if district shapes get more complicated and buildings start to take up more than one plot

By the way, if needed, you are allows to expand things in your plot up to 1 pixel outward in order to add the effect of a 3rd dimension! (for example, the bench in Central Park)

TO DO:

-Make Central Park

-Name all streets

-Name city

Everyone, come up with names for the city and the streets and we will all rank them (1 being the best) so that the one that is ranked highest on average will be the final name.

Don't worry about the glitch! It's actually technically not a glitch, but it isn't an intentional feature. If you press "add comment" multiple times before it finishes sending, it will happen. I'll do it on purpose here to show you :D

By the way, I'm really happy that you chose something special to you to make your home plot!! That makes this whole artwork more special I think !!
