"Étude" is French for "study," and is often used in music to describe a piece meant for studying. I thought it would work fine here too.

I heavily rely on lineart in my pictures a lot (cuz it's what I'm used to with paper and pencil) but pixel art is capable of more than that, so soon I'm going to try and make a full picture without relying on the lineart as much. Here, I tried only using black so that the lineart is the same as the shading, which I think is good practice for when I can't rely on the lineart as all.
