Running Tests. (WIP)

I sat in the rather uncomfortable chair, waiting for what the SG medics called me over for. When Alaris had announced that I needed to be down here, she sounded quite concerned, though I didn't know why. Sure, it was a bit of a scare when I had disappeared into Astra's Light-Mind magic, but I was in fairly good condition compared to many. They were even watching Merli less than me, which seemed a bit absurd, considering how badly injured he was in comparison.
They finally walked into the medical wing after 20 minutes of my fidgeting anxiously and Astra's reassurance. Alaris looked the most worried, Lilac and Erlan indifferent, whereas Astro and Zephyr both gave me a reassuring smile.
"Hey kid, how ya feeling?" Zephyr asked gently, her voice as calm as possible.
"Fine...? What's this about?" I responded, my knee bouncing rapidly. This situation felt a little too similar somehow, though I had no clue what had triggered the feeling.
'And why do you act so serious, O Healers? Something actually wrong?' Astra questioned, frustration seeping into her "voice".
"Well, yes," Astro answered in a matter-of-fact manner. "Miss Akita, have you been having nightmares as of late? Any blanks in your memory?"
I startled at the question. Why was he asking about my nightmares and the memory blackouts? How did he even know about them? Yes, I had those, due to the disorder I recently discovered I had...
And sure, it was stressful during this time, it was common for many of us to have terrors at night. As for memory blanks...Why did that matter to them?
"Are you going to answer?" Astro said impatiently, his eyes narrowed.
'Why do you need to know?!' Astra demanded, moving in front of me protectively. Her ears were back, and she was tense, like she was preparing for a fight.
"We care about your mortal's health, since you recklessly put her into a dangerous world," Astro responded coolly. He clearly didn't like it...
"Astra, we were told that Akita had multiple...forms in this world of yours, and we're a bit concerned," Zephyr explained in her calm, motherly way.
"We're just going to do some tests to see if there is any mental fractures, as will be projected by these magic things here that will test if there are any irregularities in your mental structure, and to see if any Lightfire or any of that...poison..." Alaris shuddered as she said it, "is left in her blood causing a magic effect unlike any other-"
"Basically, we're measuring your brain waves to see if something's wrong. It'll be fine, kid, don't worry about it," Zephyr summarized, placing a hand on my shoulder.
I shook my head, listening to the arguments going on in my mind. "Okay...."

They drew my blood. Of course they did. I hated every second of it, though it was nowhere near as bad as the other tests. It wasn't right, watching them take my blood and blow several of my veins. At least it seemed like they were going to get some results, from how odd it looked, but I wasn’t sure I wanted that either....it had an odd appearance to it, that certainly wasn't natural. It had blue mixed in with the red... that had a faint glow. The medical unit had been shocked by it, Alaris trying to figure out how it was even possible for such a thing. It shouldn't have been.
Lightfire magic does weird things...a voice whispered. It's pretty cool!
"Yes, but....I don't like this," I whispered back, fidgeting with the bandage around my arm as I waited for them to come back and finish the tests.
