Yeah, it's useful! I mostly noticed basic things till I started drawing people- or rather I remembered only specific things, because uh I can't not notice some things, but yeah I get that! Personality's good for identification

i never notice the outsides of people very much, just the contours and some dynamic details like shirts and hair

i recognize everyone at my school but i dont know anyone's names

and for people close to me, i just rely on their personality to know who it is

Understandable- Honestly, I just draw feminine men mostly- but also, some tips: typically, they have broader shoulders, a thicker neck, more defined chin, different eye/nose placement, eyes slightly higher (sometimes), different mouth placement (I usually put it lower), just experiment till you get one you like- Idk. Either way you're already so good!
