[From Ash's POV]

"For the 100th time, NO!" Akita argued with me, her ears a little red. "I don't..."

"Oh come on," I said with a laugh. "You like him, admit it!"

"Actually, no...there's...someone else..." she admitted, her ears turning bright red.

"Oh, I know. It's Merli isn't it?" I grinned as she turned bright red. I knew it all along. The way she acted around that computer nerd was obvious. And the way he acted, too...Nervously fidgeting, blushing so much, sometimes looking so embarrassed, staring at her...The same way she looked at him...Oh, they were in love. There was no doubt about it. I knew it.

Akita turned away, probably to hide how much she was blushing. "Shush..."

"Ooooh you have a crush!!! You'll be so so cute with each other, I just know it! Oi, Merli!" I called out as he walked past on the other side of the street. "Akita's in-" Akita covered my mouth to stop me from saying anything further, even though I didn't plan to say anything about Akita's crush on him. I pushed her away.

"Don't you dare say anything to him about it," Akita ordered, clearly tired of my mischievousness.

"Hmm but what about your brother? He already knows, soooo," I suggested.

"NO. STOP."

"I won't do anything," I responded, widening my eyes innocently. "But you've got a crush..." I was fully prepared to tease and support her with this. I HAD to see them together. They would be so cute...

"No," Akita said to me firmly. "You're planning something and the answer is no."
