You know, after being away from drawing for so long, I figured it would take me a while before I fully got back into the swing of things. And yet despite me thinking that, this particular drawing was actually much easier for me to create than the Bloomingbird from yesterday. Getting the body shape and colorations right did make me a little bit, but once it clicked the design just fell into place perfectly, and I really like how it turned out! Using a Wild Boar as an inspiration also worked out perfectly, they are commonly associated with forest underbrush, are omnivores willing to eat just about anything that can fit in their mouths, are highly aggressive when threatened, and even have ties to the Greek goddess of the hunt Artemis. In short, these guys both connect to the more common themes of the Nature element end some of the less-common themes that typically get overlooked, so in my opinion they work perfectly for one of my Nature creatures. So yeah, hope you guys enjoy this guy as much as I do, and I’ll see you guys again tomorrow for the next addition to the roster!
