Hi! This is Murphic, and uhhh I know I took a while to talk abt this movie since I think its almost going out of the theathers rn, but HOLY WHAT A COOL MOVIE. I'm not the best when it comes to critiques, specially with movies since I usually watch cute lil movies with no blood and violence aaand bc of that I'm not that used with horror, but I think I managed to survive this one lol aaand I REALLY liked it so I wanted to talk about my favorite parts, what it is about and all, yeah : D THERE MIGHT BE SPOILERS SO SPOILER WARNINGGGG!!

Ok so let's get to know the Backrooms b4 we talk about the movie itself. The Backrooms are a crepypasta on the internet, described as eerie, endless rooms who carry a weird familiar vibe for some. Inside the Backrooms there are also some entities who wants to kill u aaand yeah, i think thats about it! There are many interpretations of it tho, since it started only as an image which people then created a whole story about it. The interpretation of the movie is the one from this guy called Kane Pixels (Kane Parsons). Oh, and he also has this series of "found footage" that he did for his version of the Backrooms and you can find it on Youtube!

OK NOW ABOUT THE MOVIE, it's a A24 movie so it's a banger, ofc they made so many bangers like Everything Everywhere All At Once, I Saw The TV Glow, Pearl, uh i don't know that many movies so uh i'm listing the ones I heard people say its good and the one I saw before which I really liked it : P (BTW: A24 signed a contract with Open AI, which really suck since it is an indie studio and I'm pretty sure most directors of the movies A24 helped do not like AI, sooo uh the movies are good, just not A24 really) ANYWAYS, you know those movies that they end and you're just mind blown? Or like, you stay on theorising about it? Well I absolutely love those movies, and for me the Backrooms movie was like that sooo ITS A WIN!!
