if you are using a school email on your account, read the rest. if you arent, this doesnt apply to you.

if you are using a school email on your grid paint account, do these steps before you lose all of your progress permanently.

1: create a gmail account for non-school things that is set above 21 years old (if you already have one, skip to step 2.)

2: click your profile picture in the top right.

3: click "my profile"

4: click something that says something like "alternative email"

5: enter your gmail/home email account there.

now, you can log into your grid paint account using that email. enjoy!
