Backstory:Lia was raised to humans- the first elf to ever be so. Her parents were being hunted by assassins for a king and in a desperate attempt to protect Lia (as a baby) they gave her to a human family. Lia was raised never knowing who she really was. She was made fun of for her elvish looks and had only one friend, who had moved away to help his family. She started to become more lonely due to the bullying and her difference from others and started venturing out into the forest. There she discovered something that changed her life. She could talk to animals. She was told by her parents to keep this a secret at all costs.Then one night her village was burned down by strange masked figures. Horrified and grief-stricken for her human parents Lia ran to the village to try to help, but the forest animals held her back and took her to safety in a meadow that she faintly remembered. Now Lia hunts for the truth of her past and for revenge. Who were her parents? Why can she talk to animals? And how come her parents gave her up? Who were those strange masked figures?
