The Earth Foxes are the "tribe" of Foxes who train in the plant & earth magics... they often are the ones with the strongest healers and seers. They also focus on controlling one's emotions, to maintain a state of calm when engaged in battle. The earth magics are not passed down from family member to family member; instead it's passed down through where one resides. Certain places are brimming with earth magic, so the one whom lives closest to the source of the magic in that place... The magic chooses people in a place at random, or so is believed. It is possible though.. that each Fox is "tested" by the magic, and that it chooses the one who has the best control over the emotions. This theory is unstable at best, because it doesn't explain HOW it happens. They do have a council of elders, whom are the leaders, since the earth foxes live 300 years.
