Gradient test unfinished for a long while

for some reason if you try to number your colors starting from #000000 and working by 1 at the last spot, it defaults to blue which mystifies me, so now im gonna see how many EXACT color pixels exist on this site, i can already tell you that there are 999,999 from just using 1 - 999,999, but you also get alphabet letters going from A to F. so essentially saying, there are over 1 million colors for a pixel to be used...i think
i could be wrong but i used a calculator because there are 6 didgits, and for each of the alphabet letters a to f, it acts the same way the numbers do, but only going to 666.666...which i added up to 999,999 and got 1,666,665 total pixel colors...which i am about to put to the test...considering the maximum for this site is 4000 that is ROUGHLY 4 PRECENT of that 1.6 Million colors total
