As much as I love every single dragon I’ve made here, I think that my Nature dragons might be my favorite of them as a set, just because almost all of them came out pretty much perfect as far as I’m concerned. That being said however, I still recognize that a few of them might have some room for improvement. Starting off with the first of the bunch, I was originally planning to swap out all of its green for more vibrant shades, but after comparing that look with this one I decided against it. The idea behind this wyrm is that its body is literally made out of thorny vines twisted together into a single animal, and the brighter colors didn’t convey that image as well as this current palette. The only things that have changed are reshaping the tip of the tail so it looks like 5 thorns instead of 3, and doing the same thing to the neck to make it look a little smoother. That parts not very obvious with the tail overlapping it, but I assure you it’s there. Overall this is another of my personal favorite dragons I’ve drawn over the years, and I hope all of you enjoy it as much as I do!
