I apologize for my long absence from the dragon redesigns, but I’m getting ready to start college in a week from today, so I’ve been busy with preparing myself for that. Also because of that, after this week I’m going to be doing all remaining redesigns over the weekends, so hopefully we can expect the schedule from here on out to be much more consistent. Now that all of that explanation is out of the way we can finally move on the talking about the dragon I’ve been most wanting to remake since I started this whole series. My main issue with the previous version was that the shoulders looked super weird to me, almost like they were attached to the neck rather than slightly behind it, so to fix that I ended up redoing both the wings and the head. I don’t know of what I have now is perfect, but it definitely looks better than what I had before. I also decided to redraw the tail and bulk up the legs a little bit just because they looked way too thin compared to everything else before that. And to top it all off, I added some blue striped to the torso and underside just to give it a little extra splash of color. This was actually a pretty hard redesign to get right, as I feel like I spent around and hour just fiddling with it trying to get it exactly how I wanted it, and while I’m not sure this version is perfect it’s definitely an improvement over what I had before. That in and of itself feels like a victory to me, so until I feel the need to recreate this electric beastie yet again I hope you all enjoy it’s newly upgraded form!
