Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine and I was explaining neopronons to him. He was saying that they were weird, not valid, and that some uneducated person "made them up"; I'm really unhappy with the fact that so many people are making fun of them.
Neopronouns were used a very long time ago; specifically in 1920 by a novelist. Then, people started using them shortly after, the first set of them being "thon", a singular pronoun. It was completely casual back then, but now why is it all of a sudden so "weird" to have them?
So I'm trying to spread awareness about neopronouns with this description and the art of the neopronons flag with slightly lighter colors.
