how y'all create your art?

just wondering.
I usually do a sketch like this at first, if I am happy with it, I would refine it to linework, if I am still happy with it, I would color.
if I am not happy with the sketch, I would probably just delete it.
this whole process takes anywhere from 30 min to 5 hours.
