This was the gift Espurr that Slate received from their friend. At first, Espurr was wary, and curious about Slate, and Slate had no idea how to interact with Espurr as he's never really had an actual chance to be with a Pokemon one on one.

They eventually do bond though and Espurr tends to wear a bow on their tail (which Slate gave him), as well as carry around a rubber ball.
