I honestly don’t have very much to say about this redesign before I talk about what actually been changed, so I’m just going to jump right into it. The most notable change I’ve made is replacing the dull, darker green that was the primary color with a much more vibrant one, which I know has been a common occurrence for this series, but this is the first time I’ve done it for a Nature dragon and felt like it worked, so I’m very happy with it. I also added some more volume to the bottom of the wings and redrew the lining on them so they look more like leaves. That’s the look I tried to get across with the previous version, but after some fiddling with them I decided to take a much simpler approach that I feel works much better. This is a design I’ve loved ever since I first imagined it, and aside from the legs still being kind of short despite my failed attempt at making them longer, this might actually be my favorite Nature dragon I’ve drawn period. So on that note, I hope all of you like it just as much as I do!
