Kate did not have a good life, she was taken away from her parents, after a robbery, and then she was left on a road. She was taken to an adoption center a few days later and has been there almost her whole life, and she has been there since she was four. She could never make friends, but she was just like them. She was always so confused until they figured out she has dyslexia. She had friends, but then this girl named Sam lied a lot about her, and her friends were gone, even her best friend, they just left. When age 15 she ran away and she met Jackson. Then she lived her life with him until then on. She then got caught, and then she got adopted, but they weren't nice, they just wanted her for money, because the government would give them money for her. She then had to escape again, and Jackson grabbed her, after spending two years getting plane tickets to run away, he did. They decided to go to France since they were taught that, other than anything else. That was the only language they both knew. Plus in Mexico, the parents could get them any time soon. Then that's where the story truly starts

More background information: She was forced to wear prim and proper clothing, but she just wanted to be comfortable, nothing else.
