I made this poem today, I hope ya'll like it
You told me~
That I would be loved
That the world wasn't gonna be like this forever
And I believed~
You told me~
That the shadows lurking were just my imagination
That I would fly one day, that WE would fly, TOGETHER
You told me~
That my wings weren't broken yet
That you and I were forever, together, light as a feather
You told me~
Many things
So What about us?
What about all the broken promises?
You told me~
I'd be happy
But now I'm alone, broken, waiting
What happened to your promises that were my sunlight?
I loved
I trusted
I hoped
You left
You lied
You broke me
You told me~
That we were billions of stars in the dark
But now I'm just one lonely star
So what about all the things that you promised?
What about us?

Art is better when it has emotion in it. That's the beautiful thing about art, it portrays emotion and it can be a therapy in a way..
