over-detailed eye study thing

I'm trying to learn the secrets of Grid Paint and Holzperle. My first "study" of this is a small section of a face, showcasing an eye, and many things around it. It's not very good, but it's a start.

I actually really like it! <3333 The blue is actually really mesmerizing... It tells the secrets of the untold soul- Woah- Why did I delve so deep there lol

btw this "study" is very haphazardly done- didn't take too long, but that's probably because of... well, I just said it lol- I think I could do some of the shading better and the scar could have some work done on it. What should I put in the top right corner to make it look less bland? OH AND ALSO PLS GIVE ANY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IT WOULD BE VERY GOOD
