I want to apologize for doing this redesign so late, but I had to study for a quiz last weekend and didn’t have the time for it. I only hope that stuff like this won’t be happening too much in the future, but that aside it’s time to talk about the new version of my final Ice dragon. The most notable change I’ve made to it is the name, which like what I did for the Shieldwing is a reference to the in-universe location where these guys are from. It’s basically a giant floating iceberg with a huge lake in its center, though how it got in the air and why these dragons live there is are questions that I’ll be answering later down the line. As for the design of the dragon itself, the most notable change I made was replace the smaller wings on its side with some markings that convey a sense of speed, which I much prefer the look of. Other more subtle changes include making most of the colors more vibrant, reshaping the tail to look a little smoother, and adding a bit of pale light blue to the tip of the main wings. This has honestly been one of the most interesting dragons I’ve ever made, with the design process taking turn after turn even now as I try to get everything exactly how I like it, but I think it’s finally paid of and given me the best version of this creature I’ve made to date. I’m happy with it, and I hope all of you are too!
