Akuma, also known as Aka, is a slick conwoman, who's gotten herself into big names, a more recent one being baroque works. Akuma is a Banshee, a race of creatures in which have deafening screams, along with the ability to mock voices to lead prey away. The earpieces allow her to hear clearly through anything. Growing up, she loved singing. She was an orphaned child, raised by pirates. She always sang on the ship, she even had duets with the pirates, those were always her favorite. Unfortunately, their ship was attacked and sunk. As of now, she became a conwoman to make money and gain resources for the poor, hardly ever for HER benefit. She's quite the trickster. She sails with the strawhats, also attempting to save Alabasta, Princess Vivi's homeland.
