Backstory: Lyrian was a scientist. He never meant any harm in it, he was just chasing a dream. When the lab he worked for made him experiment on people, he protested...But the lab wouldn't let him go, saying that the research "was important, and could save lives!" He was one of the lead scientists on the Solarlight Project, also known as the Azora Project. This was a massive, and dangerous project. It was a project that was meant to create a mortal with the powers of Mentalians...Lyrian, despite his orders, had become friends with one of the subjects. Azora. He started to worry. What if it was all wrong? He had done the research, and had learned of the faults in the idea. However, his bosses didn't listen to him when he had shown them the info. It was too late, anyway. The experiment was completed, and Azora was transformed forever, no longer human. Lyrian, after seeing the things they did to her, helped her escape. She managed to escape, but Lyrian was left behind...And had nearly lost his life in the labs as the building burned down. His co-workers had abandoned him to die. The only reason he survived was because he still had one of the experiment tests...and he used it on himself. He still, to this day, doesn't know his abilities given from the experiment other than the fact that it kept him alive...or perhaps he simply doesn't want to say?
He didn't know if Azora really made it out alive, but he meant to find her. Starsguild had found him wandering through Windguard as he searched and had invited him to join their ranks. He did so, hoping to redeem himself for his mistakes and prevent any experiments like that from ever happening again with the help of SG.
"No one should ever pretend they're a god and mess around with genetics to make someone 'better'. It only makes everything so much worse."
Well, honestly I kinda have a hard time writing them...I have so many random ideas that never turn into anything, but sometimes my brain doesn't let ideas go, so yeah, I come up with a lot of stuff. Dramatic quotes and random important scenes are where it all starts! (I'm afraid I don't really know what that is, sorry-)
your characters have such amazing stories bro, i struggle to make stories. Most of the time, I kind of just brain storm important things and dramatic quotes that could happen but nothing really turns into a cool story-- (oh, and Lyrian remind me of Rui Kamishiro from Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage, or just Project Sekai)
