My prediction from yesterday was correct, this creature was significantly easier to draw than the Nimbus Moth ever was! This one was based mainly off of the Flying Squirrel and Sugar Glider, both very famous gliding rodents that, thanks to Draconic Wind magic, can now truly take to the skies. It might seem odd for me to pick these guys over something like a bird, but birds are the obvious pick for wind-related animals and I don’t want to overuse them, which is the same reason I didn’t base all of my water creatures off of fully aquatic animals. But if you think flying squirrels are an unorthodox choice, trust me when I say that the next creature I plan to draw will be even weirder, so stay tuned for that and enjoy this guy in the meantime!
