when the night falls upon the city
its emotions grow up in the twisted neons
their social loneliness, unease, and dissatisfy
repeat over and over in their dreamless eyes
heart becoming a bottomless hole
they throw the right answers at me but I am too numb to move
the wrong cravings carry on never going to cut it off
ethanols and lies kill off another night of pain
