This is my PokeTrainer OC, Slate, they currently only have a team of 4 Pokemon. (oh no, how dare they be in Paldea?)

They were born in the Unova region but when they were ~3, his family moved to Slateport city in the Hoenn region for a multitude of reasons. When they were 14, the family moved once more to Paldea because of a job opportunity for his mother. He eventually got enrolled in the academy there, because why not?

He has an older sister who had decided to stay in the Unova region, reason to him liking to have Unovian Pokemon on his team.

Their first Pokemon Slate had was an Espurr, gifted by a friend of his who was sad that they were leaving Hoenn. He is still unsure about evolving it. The Espurr almost always wears a ribbon on its tail and constantly wants to give little trinkets he finds to Slate.

The next was a Tynamo sent over by his sister, in present time it has evolved into Eelektross. Over time its gotten tired of the shenanigans caused by Slate, often acting as a ward to keep away trouble.
