Sorry about not doing any updates last weekend, I had a project for school to work on. That’s all finished up now, so we can get right back on the dragon redesign train, starting with another of my personal favorites the Golden Timegazer! Now for those who don’t know, this is my second version of this design: the original was posed in a way that look kinda silly, so I completely redrew it in a more traditional sort of stance. As such, pretty much every part of this creature is exactly how I want it to be, with the exception of the head and neck which looked a bit too far forward. So today, I shifted them both back a pixel and adjusted the base of the neck to go along with it, so now the entire design looks just as streamlined and complete as I wanted it to from the beginning. I have loved the idea behind this dragon ever since I came up with it, especially since it’s inspired by Fatalis from Monster Hunter and I adore that franchise, so I’m really glad I was able to encapsulate that shape as perfectly as I could. I hope all of you enjoy this beautiful beast as much as I do, and I’ll see you all again tomorrow for a much more… drastic redesign.
