One last Colossus to end off the day, and probably the most ironic of them to be designing now considering my area is under an extreme heat warning right now. The main reason I wanted to use my Frigideer to create the Ice Colossus is simply for the visual of a gigantic frozen deer calmly walking out from a raging blizzard, looking down at the player, and then the fight begins. I also like the idea of the boss- despite its massive size- being just as graceful and precise in its movements and attacks as its base form while being far more dangerous at the same time, a combination that perfect encapsulates the core themes of the Ice element. Like with the others it took my a bit of time to figure how exactly I wanted this thing to look, and while I’m not 100% sure that what I have now is perfect I still think it looks pretty good, so for the time being I’m sticking with it. But with all that said I’m now officially done with drawing today, so I hope you guys enjoy this one and I will be back tomorrow for the next set of Colossi!
