Continuing on with revamping my Year of the Dragon collection, we have this tiny Wind drake that I had to draw twice because this website had some sort of update and it didn’t save the first version. Now for those who remember the revamps I gave to my main set of dragons last year, you’ll recognize that I gave this guy the same treatment I gave to my other Wind dragons, which is adding a few specs of light pink to the feathers to better tie the design to its element. I use specific colors to represent each of the elements in my fantasy world (reds for Fire, blues for Water, yellows for Lightning, etc.), and for Wind I use shades of magenta and pink, and since those colors weren’t originally present on most of my Wind dragons I decided to fix that when going back and fixing their designs. This guy is no exception, and while it took a bit of time to find the best spots to add the extra color I think I’m happy with this final version.
