A fun fact to start this off: this was actually the very first Shadow dragon I ever came up with when I first had the idea of creating something like this. At that time the only aspects of the design I knew I’d keep were the four wings, head shape, and overall silhouette, with the colors being completely undecided. That’s were I’ve made most of the improvements today, and I’ve used a very dark shade of purple to give the torso some much needed color variation and make the gradient of the wing trims that much better. As for the shape of this creature, the only things I’ve changed were making the tail longer and adding and extra pixel to the horns so they look more full. And of course I can’t forget about the completely new name I’ve given it, which I think you’ll agree is much more fitting for it than the previous one. While I can’t shake the feeling that this might be the least interesting of the Shadow dragons, this new version is definitely a vast improvement over the previous one, so I hope all of you enjoy it as well and I’ll see you next weekend for more creatures of the darkness!
