ELLO EVERYONE! It's me, Murphic, back from traveling! How are you all? I'm doing just fine really. So... I went to Rio de Janeiro, which was probaby one of, if not, the most beautiful place I've gone to! If you've alread got to Rio de Janeiro, you definetly noticed the amount of nature that is present in the cities, and I think thats what makes it so gorgeous! It got such a rich and diversed nature with different and cool native animals, and the views are just amazing! If you ever get the chance to visit, give it try! Something that really made me kinda scared is the fact that on the TV, the image shown of Rio is of an beutiful place, yet very dangerous, and that was probaby the only thing that made me so weary of visiting it in the first place... There are many cases of theft and murders, but after going you kind of realize that its just on certain areas that are indeed dangerous that those type of things happen, so it has almost no percent of chances that you'd be killed or someone would just steal something from you if youre in a safe or very popular street/city like Ipanema, Copacabana, Petrópolis, etc...
Anyways, I went to a bunch of places like the Escadaria Selarón, which I'm not sure how the translation would be but it's basicly a public, very long stair, that in each step there's a different kind of combination of titles, that in the end make a beautiful and colourfull piece of art! There's also Pão de Açúcar, in english Sugar Loaf but since it is a name it will still be Pão de Açúcar, that is basicly a mountain: you need to get the cable car they have so you can go from Morro da Urca (The first mountain thingy) to Pão de Açucar (The second, tallest one). Also, I saw one of the seven wonders of the modern world! My bro Christ the Redeemer!
This trip was amazing, I met a lot of cool and kind people like a random dude called Wallace that just appeard out of nowhere telling us he was a tour guide and that he could help us get to all of those places I mentioned (which he did help us) and he just became best friends with my dad- I am also super tired cuz we walked a lot and went to a bunch of places, yet it was still very fun! I'm happy to be back home, and well, thats it! BYEE!! :D
Río de Janeiro is actually more dangerous during off season. The crime tends to be more subtle when foreigners are around
Btw this is really cool seeing the translations, it's weird how similar brazilian portuguese is to río de la platense spanish (Pão de Açúcar would be Pan de Azucar in spanish)
also "My bro Christ the Redeemer" is an amazing line XD
