You know, when I first started coming up with ideas for this fantasy dragon world of mine back in high school, a giant Ice hydra was one of the first ideas I had. I scrapped the idea for a while due to having no idea how to actually draw it, but after making my Shadow hydra I realized I could rework that design to bring this old concept back. And as much as I liked how it came out the first time, There were still a few improvements to be made, specifically with its ice armor. This time around I replaced the messy-looking body markings with extensions of the back armor, gave the big ice spikes lines of blue to make them less plain, added two new spikes to the ice trident on the tail, and reshaped the nasal horns to they point back instead of forwards. The only change I made to the main body was making it a slightly brighter shade of light blue, which is barely noticeable but I still think it looks better. And of course I changed its name to reflect not only the size of the creature, but also the tyrannical personality I imagine it to have. I ended up changing a lot more with this guy than I originally expected to, so I hope everyone enjoys it and I’ll see you again tomorrow for another unique pair of dragons!
