Will make a better drawing later (still don't have computer)
First, let me say this. Caligo is latin for fog (ty WoliWilo for the correction)
You've already seen, though perhaps not met, Akita and her alters Alena, Hazel, and Coco. But there is one that fronts so rarely that she hasn't been mentioned till now. This is probably a good thing...
Caligo is, like her name, the darkest of the alters, a "persecuter alter". She is VERY dangerous, both to the system and to others. She holds no love for the other alters except for the host, Akita. Due to Akita’s horrible upbringing, Caligo, the strong dark one, started to form, but didn’t really front. But Caligo was fully formed just after Azora’s death. Azora’s death broke something in Akita, so she went dormant for a few months. Coco mostly refused to front, and when she did try to, she wasn't strong/mature enough to handle the situation. Hazel had been dormant for a while by that point. So that left two of the alters. Alena and the newly formed Caligo. Alena had a hard time fronting as well, due to the amount of trauma...so it was a perfect time for Caligo to seize control. This would've been good if it weren't for Caligo's nature. She basically learned from the few pieces of memories that she had that to survive, she had to be dangerous, strong, and equally manipulative as Akita’s father. After all, in her flawed view, that was the way for her to protect the system. Plus...she didn't have as long as the others to front...eventually, Alena was able to front, and Caligo wasn't allowed to front after that...till...
Lyri had reappeared and Ash had given up her life. Caligo seized control in that time...and Lyri disappeared after that. There were a few more disappearances after that, some related to Lyri, some related to Akita’s father. Luckily, unless none of the others can/want to front, which is rare, Caligo doesn't front. If she does, then you better run. You've messed up- uh- wait one second-
....
"You're done for. You can't win against a force of darkness.
...
And YOU. READERS. Think you can understand me? Think again. I'm a force of power, the thing you should fear. That Artist, my author, has underestimated me.
You are going to get into trouble. Harm Akita, break her like the rest, and I'll be the last thing you see."
Uhm *nervous laugh* Sorry about that, I'm not sure what happened there.
"Hah. You don't know what you're dealing with. And who are these storming 'searchers'? Unstable, choose your words more carefully."
(And her arrogance and high and mighty attitude, besides her VERY destructive behavior, is the reason that no one likes it when she fronts. Then again, she mirrors Akita’s dad sooo)
I'm not enjoying this argument, but it is intriguing, and now I can tell you're intrigued too, to some extent. It's fun!
And that's not what calamitous means when I, or another searcher says it. I'm comparing you to @, the unstable calamity. There are several of them, but It is much more important to specify than a defect overseer with too much free time.
