attempts to sketch out (imagining rounded corners) paths for a slot in a weaving tablet that would allow a warp thread to be moved intentionally, but not unintentionally, between the end of the slot at a corner of the card (where the thread participates in the shed) and the end of the slot at a center of the card (where the thread is buried in the cloth and potentially twined around).
The idea with these is that there should be a direction of turning which retains corner threads in their corners, and which tends to trap other threads in a hairpin turn close to the center.
I've been setting these up with the slots entering the center in a way that tends to channel threads out of the slots, but I guess if I'm intentionally trapping (near-)center threads in the slots, that's not actually important, is it.
